PitchBook is a private equity and venture capital database covering a wide range of companies as well as startups. It can be used for competitor research to help identify companies that offer similar products or services. Researchers can also track entire private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) lifecycles from fund initiation to company exits, private mergers and acquisitions (MA) transactions.

Access PitchBook
Restrictions
Users can download 10 lines of data per day and 25 lines per month. 1 download = 1row of data on an Excel file.
Screen capturing, scraping data, using crawlers or other forms of data mining are prohibited. There is nothing we can do to enable more downloads; nor is there a workaround. This restriction is in place for all of PitchBook's academic clients.
Try working with the Pivot Table function in PitchBook: downloading 1 Pivot Table equals downloading 1line of data.
The use of PitchBook mobile apps is not part of the academic license.
